No, the same login will work for students transferring to Queens College.
Incoming transfers should register for a Transfer Workshop through the Academic Advising Center. Before heading to a Transfer Workshop, look at the list of department websites to see major requirements.
The transfer credit report is available by logging in to CUNYfirst, navigating to the Student Center page (you should see your full name and eight-digit CUNY ID near the top), locating the dropdown box in the Academics section, and clicking on Transfer Credit: Report.
Transfer credit reports are processed by the Office of Admissions and typically made available before a Transfer Workshop appointment. They remain available on CUNYfirst once processed.
Students can obtain a QCard twenty-four hours after they have set up their three computer accounts (CUNYfirst, CUNY Portal, and QC Username). The QCard office is located within the One Stop Service Center in Dining Hall 128.
Computer labs are available on the 2nd floor of the I Building, in Powdermaker Hall 210, in Science Building A135, and Student Union LL52.
Hours are typically Monday through Thursday, 8 AM – 9:45 PM, but vary over the weekend depending on room.
Students can print across different computer labs on campus and must have a QC Username (for login to lab computers), QCard, and print money on their QCard.
Before the semester has started, students can check their course section on CUNYfirst, which should list the textbooks required.
Students can access DegreeWorks by first logging into the CUNY Portal and clicking “Student Advisement Degree Audit” in the Applications section on the left side.
Your email address will be your CUNYfirst login name (ie, john.smith66) at @qmail.cuny.edu

Login to your qmail through Office 365: Qmail Login
Students can pay their tuition either in person with check or cash at the Bursar’s Office in Jefferson Hall, 2nd Floor. Students can also pay electronically via CUNYfirst; paying electronically via e-check incurs no additional fees, whereas paying with a credit card will carry a surcharge fee on top of the tuition cost.
The general education offerings are updated every semester and are available via the Office Of General Education’s website and in paper form at the Academic Advising Center, Kiely Hall 217.
Students can pick up a declaration of major form from the One Stop Service Center, or online here. If using the online form, students will need to login using their QC Username.
Students must then bring the form with their selected major/minor to the respective departmental office and obtain a signature from a departmental faculty member or faculty advisor. Students then bring the completed declaration form back to the Registrar’s Office, 1st floor, Jefferson Hall.
