Transfer applications are reviewed on a rolling admissions basis; however priority is given to those who file before March 1 for fall admission and October 15 for spring admission.
1. GPA Requirement
All transcripts from all previous colleges must be submitted, as well as a high school transcript. Queens College has specific criteria for being admitted as a transfer student:
- Students with a CUNY or SUNY AA (Associate of Arts), AS (Associate of Science), or CUNY AAS (Associate of Applied Science) degree are automatically admitted
- Fewer than 30 credits requires a 2.75 GPA for admission based on the freshman criteria
- 29-60 credits requires at least a 2.25 GPA combined for all college transcripts
2. University Skills Proficient
Applicants to CUNY four-year colleges must have completed at least one college-level course in Mathematics and English with a grade of “C” or better, or must demonstrate college-level readiness based on SAT, ACT, AP, IB, or New York Regents test scores.
